Abstract

Corn and Sorghum On- Farm Research Project was Yield Potential Of Pre�Commercial Field Corn Hybrids Trial at Ban Sai Chan Nuan, Pak Chong District, – Nakhon Ratchasima Province during December 2015 – April 2016. The objective of this experiment was to identify the high potential pre- commercial field corn hybrids before recommended as commercial hybrids to corn farmers. In the trial composed of 32 entries,. The experimental design was RCBD with 3 replications. Tha result found that KSX5720 gave the highest grain yield of 1342.8 kg/1.600 m2 which was 56% higher than Suwan 4452, ( check variety). There are twenty six varieties gave lower grain yield than KSX5720 variety from 2-55 %. They were KSX5718, KSX5722, NSX042022, KSX5402, KSX5614, KSX5821, KSX5714, KSX5825, KSX5832, KKK Super, KSX5731, KSX5502, KSX5603, KSX5830, NSX052014, KSX5818, KESX1602, P4554, KSX5832, KSX5828, DK6818, KSX5817, KSX5705, KSX5614, S7328, KSX5717 and KSX5829 varieties. The varieties from PAC339, NS3, KSX5723, KESX1601 gave the lowest grain yield of 6-48% lower than Suwan 4452 (check variety). KESX1601 gave the lowest grain yield of 443 kg/1.600 m2 , which was 48% lower than Suwan 4452 which yielded 859.7 kg/1.600 m2 . The mean grain yield of this trial was 999.1 kg/1.600 m2 .
