Abstract

This aim of this research to determine of avocado leaf as a phyto covering topreservation of the egg and konsumen preferences. This research used the completely randomized design with three treatmen and six replications. As many as 155 eggs and each treatmen amounted 39 eeg. The result of 7th days, 14th days, 21th days 28th days . the result of 21th days and 28 th days was egg yolk index ,egg white index, Haugh unit and high air bag, from thirth treatment seen a highly significant difference (P <0.01) on internal quality and saving capacity of up to 28 days. Organoleptic testing not significant (P> 0.05). The research was shown that the concentration of 20% avocado leaf givent the smallest air bag, yolk index, egg white index and the bigest Haugh uni. The consentration 20% avocado leaf as phyto coveringcan defend the internal quality egg until 28th days.
