Abstract
Efforts to minimize the dangers that can arise in the workplace is in the hospital one of the efforts that can be done is to pay more attention to work environment factors. Science that studies about the influence of work environment with health is ergonomics. RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember still not in accordance with the standard of class C. The required design of the workspace of the unit using the application space design is sweet home 3D. The purpose of this research is to design the workspace of medical record unit at RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember. Methods in this study using qualitative methods with interviews, observation and brainstorming. The design of the new medical record unit workspace consists of the registration room, the medical record room, the headroom of the medical record unit, the guest lounge, and the filling room. Spatial design is adapted to the file flow and creates an effective, safe, efficient, and convenient work space. And the addition of facilities and infrastructure and adapted to the physical environment. Advice for RSIA Srikandi IBI Jember to make two registration counters, adjust the workspace of medical record unit based on hospital type C standard, and arrangement of workspace adjusted with medical record workflow.
