Abstract

Malnutrition is undernourished modest caused by low energy consumption and protein occurring in a long time. Malnutrition includes lacking in energy protein ( kepulauan level light and medium. Clinical symptoms kepulauan level of light and medium to the examination of only look thin. Due to malnutrition to the process the body cause trouble on growth processes, energy production, defense of the body, the structure and brain function, and behavior. Research aims to understand the relationship between the level of consumption the nutrients macro and occurrences of a disease infection with status malnutrition in toddlers in kecamatan mlandingan kabupaten situbondo. The research was done in august 2016 by using the method survey analytic with the approach cross sectional. Sampling techniques used namely purposive sampling with 42 respondents. The level of consumption of macro nutrient respondents been gained through the questionnaire ffq food frequency questionnaire ) semikuantitatif and the chain of infection diseases obtained from the questionnaire occurrences of a disease infection. The research results show that there is relations between the level of energy consumption, protein, carbohydrates and occurrences of a disease infection with toddlers malnutrition where the results ( p=0,022 ), ( p=0,010 ), ( p=0,023 ), and ( p= 0,001 ).The conclusion to research shows that occurrences of a disease infection the most relating to toddlers malnutrition with the p = 0,00.
