Abstract

One of method for increasing yue production of sweet potato is using pruning time and potassium addition. The purpose of this research is to determine tendrils pruning time and potassium addition on sweet potato Cilembu varieties. This research was conducted in August 2018 until January 2019, in the Antirogo Village The District of Sumbersari, Jember. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is Pruning consist of 3 levels and the second factor is addition of potassium consist 3 levels. Further test using the DMRT test at the level pf 1% or 5%. The result of the research showed that the treatment of tendrils pruning had a very significant influence on the parameters of fresh weight of tubers per-sample and the fresh weight of per-plot tubers. The interaction between tendering pruning and potassium addition showed no significant result for all observed parameters. The best treatment for tendering pruning was obtained at , namely pruning 55 HST and adding KCL fertilizer 10 grams/plant.
