Abstract

Utilization Red Ginger Powder Zingiberofficinale As Photobioticin Ration0r Abdominal Fat and Blood Cholest of Broiler are: to reduce fatty liver and abdominal blood cholesterol levels of broilers . The useof red ginger (Zingiber officinale) powder as Photobiotic in feed against fatty liver and abdominal blood cholesterol is carried in the broiler cages in UPT farm polytechnic jember. There are100 chickens involved for 35 days from January 5 to February 8, 2016. The measured parameters arefeed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, abdominal fatty and blood cholesterol levels. The results of the research with the use of red ginger powder (Zingiber officinale). as Photobiotic in feed against fatty liver and abdominal blood cholesterol levels of broiler provide feed intake, body weight gain and lower feed conversion signifikan (P<0,05) from levels 2%, 3%, and 4%, abdominal fat signifikan (P<0,05) from levels 2%, 3% and 4% than the control blood cholesterol non signifikan levels 2%, 3% and 4%. From the result, it canbe concluded that Photobiotic red ginger with a level of 2 %, 3% and 4% lower abdominal fat, but can’t level 2%, 3% and 4% a positive effect onblood cholesterol levels of broilers.
