Abstract

Outpatient healthcare is one of hospital’s service is concerned nowadays. It is done, because the patient prefers to choose outpatient services firstly to select hospital for inpatient care. The quality and quantity of hospital is determined by the level of expertise of doctor and the facilities and infrastructure have been owned. One of those is the queue system on the outpatient. Therefore, it is needed to design and create a a queue-based view and sound application in integrated RSU Kaliwates Jember outpatient polyclinic to assist poly officers in calling the patient manually to electronically, especially by integrated poly. This research aimed to design and create an application of queue system based on display and sound in integrated poly-outpatient using waterfall method. The result of this research found that the steps of designing and creating electronically included identification problem, make Flowchart Document, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD) Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), and form design. By designing and creating of queue system based on display and voice will facilitate the poly officer to call the patient who will be examined, give the information to the patients about the number of the last queue, and estimated the time for the patient of their queue to be examined.
