Abstract

The management of medical record file storage is very important to do in a service institution. According to the results of interviews and observations with the head of the medical record officer and medical record officer at RSUD Tongas Probolinggo, the storage system of medical record files at RSUD Tongas Probolinggo uses a decentralized record-keeping file system but there is still an in-patient medical record file in the medical record file path, file storage system of medical record also there is no SOP, it resulted in a stacking medical record file, and there is misfile misfile medical file. The research is qualitative research, the data collecting methode used by interview and observation, using the 5M management element that is the element of man, the officer of the file storage department is the last education graduate of D3 Medical Record and D4 Medical Record 2 people and the 2 persons which is not a medical record, Money element does not have special budget, element Methode there is no SOP of medical record file storage system, Machine element there is no tracer, while Material of storage room of medical record is too narrow, and material of medical record file file is easily damaged.
