Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the effect of using fermented tofu waste as feed ingredients of broiler ducks is expected to decrease the cost of feed. The method used was an experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, ie feeding treatment P0 (100% feed starter), P1 (90% feed starter and 10% FTW), P2 (80 % feed starter and 20% FTW), P3 (70% feed starter and 30% FTW). The data obtained during the study were then analyzed using ANOVA one way test and when showed the difference then the further test with Least Significant Different (LSD 1% and 5%). Utilization of fermented tofu waste in feed at level 0, 10, 20, and 30% to substitute broiler feed give effect different that is not signifecant different (P> 0,05) to income but signifecant (P <0,05) to cost feed, and highly signifecant (P <0.01) to the Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) hybrid broiler duck. The use of fermented tofu waste in feeds up to 30% given to hybrid broiler ducks provides a better income opportunity on the maintenance of hybrid broiler ducks.
