Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of Humic Acid application with some doses and frequency of application toward growth and production of sweet potato. This research was conducted for 4 months from April 2017 to August 2017. It was held in field of State Polytechnic of Jember, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. This study uses a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors. The first factor is Humic Acid doses consist of three levels: 10 kg/ha (D1), 20 kg/ha (D2), and 30 kg/ha (D3). The second factor is frequency of Humic Acid application consist of three levels: Humic Acid application once (F1), Humic Acid application twice (F2), and Humic Acid application three times (F3). This experiment showed that frequency of Humic Acid application gave highly significant effect (**) in plant length at 60 DAP. Humic Acid doses showed nonsignificant effect in all parameters. D3F3 treatment gave the highest yield that is 5,64 kg/plot.
