Abstract
The most common nutritional problems found in children in Indonesia are short or very short stunting or body condition that goes beyond the SD-2 deficit below the median length or height caused by the wrong diet and illness. Children under the age of two years is a group of nutritional prone and prone to illness. This period is a sensitive period because the consequences inflicted on the baby during this period will be permanent and can not be corrected. The purpose of this research is to knew the relation between mother's knowledge about complementary breast milk feeding to Stunting at 6-24 months old children in Kalisat Health Center, Jember District. This study used Cross Sectional research design. Implementation of data analysis for this research was conducted in May - June in Sumber Ketempa and Sumber Kalong District Kalisat Subdistrict as many as 31 balita aged 6-24 month were analyzed univariat and bivariat. The research instrument of maternal knowledge parameter about complementary food of ASI is questionnaire with observation data collection technique. Research shown that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about breastfeeding complementary food to Stunting in children aged 6-24 months in Kalisat Health Center, Jember District(p Value = 0,036).
