Abstract

This research aims to Isolate and Obtain Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi Isolates in Three Centers of Corn Plant Locations in Jember Regency. The study was conducted for 6 months from August 2018 to January 2019. The research activities were carried out at the Microbiology Laboratory of Jember University and Pests Disease Department Laboratory of Brawijaya University Malang. The research used 3 locations and 3 depths for sampling area; Arjasa District, Bangsalsari District, and Kencong District with a depth of 10 cm from the ground, 20 cm from the ground, 30 cm from the ground. The data was analyzed descriptively and qualitatively by identifying the type of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi which had been isolated. The results of the research indicated that Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi from the rhizosphere of corn plants can be identified as a type of mycorrhizal fungus from the genus Glomus sp and Acaulospora delicata which has the characteristics of brown color and has a moon to oval shape. The genus Glomus sp has a more dominant level of adaptation in Arjasa District at a depth of 10 cm with a number of 75 spores. The genus Acaulospora delicata has a more dominant adaptation in Arjasa District at a depth of 20 cm with a number of spores 111.
