Abstract

Research on the effect of Concentration and time Interval for giving coconut water to the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata sturt) gendis varieties carried out in the Jember state politehnik. This study used a randomized block design with 2 factors with 3 replications. the first factor is the concentration of young coconut water (B), which consists of 0 ml / l (B0), 100 ml / l (B1), 200 ml / l (B2), 300 ml / l (B3). The second factor is the interval of young coconut water (P), which consists of 1 time a week (P1), 2 times a week (P2), 3 times a week (P3). Observation data on each parameter was analyzed by the f test (Anova) formula followed by the calculation of BNT and DMRT (5% and 1%). The results showed that the treatment of coconut water concentration factor had a significant effect on the height parameters of 4 mst age plants and the discharge of female flowers, the coconut water concentration factor had a very significant effect on the root length parameters and brix test, while non significant was shown in plant height parameters 6 mst age, number leaves, male flowers, ear weight, weight, number of roots. On the results of variance showed that the interval factor had a significant effect on the length of the tuna parameter and had a very significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves 4 mst and 6 mst and brix test, while non significant was indicated on the parameters of plant height, flower exit, weight of mackerel, root length, amount root, heavy weight. And the results of variance in the interaction of coconut water significantly affected the parameters of the number of leaves 4 mst, brix test and very significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves aged 6 mst, while non significant indicated in the parameters of plant height, ear length, ear weight, root length, amount root, flower release, heavy weight.
