Abstract

Sesame plants are one of the most potential plantation commodities because of the oil content and several contents that can be utilized by various industries, but farmers rarely cultivate, this is due to the lack of information about the techniques of sesame cultivation. One innovation that can improve cultivation is to use organic materials that are easily found around us with manure and MOL banana weevil. The research method used was a two factorial randomized block design (RBD), the first factor was the concentration of banana weevil Mol and the second factor was the dose of chicken manure which was arranged with 12 treatment combinations and 3 replications to 36 trial units. MOL concentration of banana weevil (M) consists of 4 levels including: M0: 0 ml / l water, M1: 100 ml / l water, M2: 150 ml / l water and M3: 200 ml / l water. Doses of chicken manure (K) consist of 3 levels including K1: 15 tons / ha (4.5 kg / plot), K2: 20 tons / ha (6 kg / plot) and K3: 25 tons / ha (7.5 kg / plot). The results of this study indicate that the treatment of chicken manure gives a very significant influence on the observation parameters of plant height 3 mst, but shows no significant difference (ns) on the parameters of plant height 9 mst, productive branches, number of pods / samples, plant seed weight / sample, weight of plant seeds / plot and weight of 1000 seeds. In addition, MOL of banana weevil has a significant effect on the weight of seeds of plants / samples and gives a very significant effect on the number of pods / samples, weight of 1000 seeds / beds. While the interaction of the two factors had a very significant influence on observations of plant height 3 mst, number of pods / samples, seed weight of plants / samples and weight of 1000 seeds / beds, but no significant effect on plant height of 9 mst, productive branches and plant seed weight / plot.
