Abstract

Anemia is one of the most common disorders that occur during pregnancy, with the condition of Hb levels below 11 gr%. The purpose of this study is to determine the different effects of media on Booklet and Video against the consumption resource of Fe and intake Sources of Fe Practice in Puskesmas Mangli, Jember. The research instrument for the data collection are using questionnaires and recall. The respondents are 40 maternal with anemia which consists of 20 Booklet groups and 20 Video groups. The results of analysis using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test showed that there are differences in consumption resource of Fe and intake Sources of Fe Practice among maternal with anemia before and after the respective treatment groups, namely (p = 0.000) on the Booklet and (p = 0.000) in the video. There are differences in the Fe resources intake of maternal anemia before and after the respective treatment groups, namely (p = 0.001) on the Booklet and (p = 0.000) othe video. The conclusion of this research is booklets and video media can improve the practice and the intake of Fe source of maternal with anemia.
