Abstract

Stunting is a condition where a toddler has less length or height when compared to age. The incidence of stunting is a major nutritional problem faced in Indonesia. Stunting is also a problem in Jember Regency. One of the health care facilities that are utilized by pregnant women is a Rumah Rumpi Sehat located in the Sukerojo District, Sukowono District, Jember Regency. The problem of partners is the lack of understanding from trained midwives related to the education of nutritious foodstuff starting from the selection of raw materials, storage, processing and presentation to pregnant women. Therefore, training and counseling guidance for midwives trained in the selection of nutritious food for pregnant women is needed in an effort to prevent the occurrence of babies born in a stunting-prone condition.
