Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the addition of Green Emulsifier enriched with Bile acid nutrient components on energi digestibility of laying hens. This research was conducted in Antirogo Village, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency using 20 laying hens. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replicates and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test. If there is a significant difference (<0.05), further test will be conducted with Ducan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The treatments given in this study were P0: Basal Feed (Control), P1: Basal Feed + Bile Acid (1kg/1g), P2: Basal Feed + Spirulina Control (1kg/1g), P3: Basal Feed + Spirulina 2 (bile acid culture 30 ml) (1kg/1g). The parameters measured were apparent metabolic energi, pure metabolic energi, nitrogen-corrected apparent metabolic energi and nitrogen corrected pure metabolic energi. Based on the results of this study, the addition of Green Emulsifier enriched with nutrient components of Bile acid had no significant effect (>0.05) on apparent metabolic energi, pure metabolic energi, nitrogen corrected apparent metabolic energi and nitrogen-corrected pure metabolic energi. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the addition of Green Emulsifier enriched with Bile acid nutrient components at a dose of 0.1% did not affect energi digestibility in laying hens.
