Abstract

This final project, entitled "Making a Promotional Video for Daweea Batik Bondowoso," was undertaken to create a bilingual promotional video aimed at increasing the visibility and market reach of Daweea Batik, a batik home industry based in Bondowoso, Indonesia. The project utilized a structured process that included development, pre-production, production, and delivery stages to produce a detailed and engaging video. The video showcases Daweea Batik unique motifs, fashion products, and traditional batik-making process, to enhance the imagination of potential buyers. The video aims to bridge the cultural and language gap by combining Indonesian and English subtitles, thus expanding the potential market for Daweea Batik Bondowoso. This project serves as a marketing tool and a learning experience for the author, integrating skills in video production, academic writing, and bilingual communication.
