Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Jember is one of the colleges in Jember that organize vocational education programs focused on the level of expertise and developing skills. In the sixth semester, the student need to conduct Internship program. Internship program is learning process for student that conducted in an institution to apply the ability and knowledge in work place. The student should conduct internship program in 3 months. The writer decided to conduct internship program in Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Pariwisata, dan Kebudayaan because the writer can learn about the activities that conducted in this institution, such as handling an event. The writer also can apply the skills that have been getting from English Study Program. During the internship program, the writer did activities such as Making a Booklet of Endless Probolinggo, Making Short Description of Tourism Object in Probolinggo, and Joining Kartini Day event. In addition, the writer also handling an event such as sport socialization and handling closing of Liga Pelajar. During conducting internship program, the writer got a lot knowledgement, experience and learn many thing, such as making promotional media and handling an event. The writer also got some problems in doing the activities, then the writer asked to the staff to solve the problems.
