Abstract

In developing countries, malnutrition is a major factor in child mortality. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 27.7% of children under the age of five in Indonesia have nutritional problems. Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2019 showed that 10.7% of all deaths of children under five years of age were due to malnutrition or undernourishment. To maintain the stability of nutritional status, assessment and monitoring of toddlers is essential.This research aims to establish a decision support system in determining the nutritional status of toddlers using the Simple Additive Weighting method. Based on the results of calculations performed by the system using the method, the accuracy rate reached 76% of the total 25 data tested. In User Acceptance Test (UAT) testing, the system achieved an accuracy of 89.5% by involving 4 respondents.
