Abstract

Informed consent was the medical procedure approval to patients or their families after receiving a complete explanation regarding the patient. The number of incomplete was percentage of incomplete filling of general surgery informed consent forms was 39.06%. The research aimed to analyze the factors causing the incompleteness of informed consent filling in general surgery patients at RSUD Bangil. The contributing factor was in individual, organizational, and psychological. The recommendation was formulated by brainstorming. The research was kualitatif, using in-depth inrviews, observations, and documentation data collation technique. The cousing factor of in completeness best on individual war the unoptimal skills officers. The results showed that the individual factor causing incompleteness was the personnel's optimal skills and rigiones. lack of diligence in ensuring the availability of informed consent which resulted in the filling of its cousing duplicate forms. Organizational factors, particularly human resources, were on ability of punishmen for health officer not complete in informed consent. Psychological factors, including the ignorance of the health officer incompleteness informed consent. lukc in accuracy in ensuring medical record in completeness by surgeons and nurses.
