Abstract

Duck farming has an important role in supporting the high availability of animal protein compared to chicken livestock commodities. The market for commercial duck eggs and livestock is quite potential, Mulya Duck Farm is one of the duck companies in the city of Lumajang. Mulya Duck Farm is a farm that produces its own feed, processed egg and meat products. To develop the business on the UD. Itik Mulya, research was conducted on the analysis of business development strategies on the Mulya Duck farm. The aim of this research is to: (1) Identify and analyze internal and external factors that influence business development on the UD. Itik Mulya. (2) Formulate and determine what alternative strategies are appropriate for developing duck businesses on the UD. Itik Mulya. The data used in this research is primary and secondary data, obtained from observations, interviews and also distributing questionnaires. The data collection process was carried out by means of purposive sampling and literature study. The data analysis used in this research is the identification analysis of Internal and External Factors, using the IFE and EFE Matrices, then determining alternative strategies using the IE and SWOT Matrix using the Cartesian SWOT diagram. Based on data processing from the questionnaire results, an IFE of 2.96 was obtained, an EFE of 2.70. The results obtained are then determined in the IE matrix which is in cell V position which is called the hold and maintain strategy. And also using the Cartesian SWOT Diagram which is in quadrant I and then mapped into a SWOT analysis which produces 8 Strategy analyses.
