Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the factors affecting entrepreneurial interest of student State Polytechnic of Jember. The analysis that used in this study was classic assumption test (normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test), multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, F test, and t test. The results showed that the variables of family education (X1), family environment (X2), and income expectations of the family environment and income expectations simultaneously had a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship (Y). In partially, family environment variables (X2) and income expectations (X3) have a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship (Y). Meanwhile, the entrepreneurship education variable (X1) has no significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship (Y). The variable that has a dominant influence on interest in entrepreneurship (Y) is the variable income expectations (X3).
