Abstract

The writer made a promotional booklet for Haryani Batik Langon Ambulu in this final project in order to promote and provide detailed information about Haryani Batik Langon Ambulu. This batik production house is located in Langon Village, Ambulu District, Jember. The booklet consists of two languages, English and Indonesian. Hariyani Batik Langon Ambulu has 3 types of products, namely Written batik, stamped batik and mixed batik. The motifs for Hariyani Batik Langon Ambulu are more dominant in natural resource motifs, such as sekar langon, terate and tobacco. To make the final project the writer collected data about Hariyani Batik by doing an interview, observation, documents, and audio-visual. The result of these data was provided in the booklet. The content of the booklet is divided into four parts. They are the overview of Hariyani Batik, the product, and contact person. The first part is overview of Hariyani Batik. It contains the detailed information of Hariyani Batik in general including the history of Hariyani Batik itself. The second contain about the kinds of batik products, motifs, and price of the product. The third part is contact person. It contains the mobile phone number of contact person, address, personal email, and social media. In the fourth part, the writer will show detail location of Hariyani Batik. The information given in Bahasa Indonesia and English and supported by some pictures. In finishing this booklet, the writer found many difficulties and challenges. The writer found a problem when making a script of this booklet. The writer needed to learn more about how to write a good script in Bahasa Indonesia by using formal language and needed to learn more about how to translate a good script in English
