Abstract

UD Barokah is a manufacturer of plate crackers or line pulley crackers. However, there are currently some problems that occur at UD Barokah, namely the production process facilities and infrastructure, including cracker printing machines that have no economic value. Of the problems that occur at UD Barokah, the number of plate crackers production results is fixed every year or does not increase, so it is necessary to have a strategy implemented in order to develop the UD Barokah Business. This study aims (1) to identify and identify internal and external factors that influence the development of UD Barokah. (2) to formulate any appropriate alternatives to be applied to UD Barokah. (3) to determine the priority of the right strategy to be applied to UD Barokah. The calculation result from the IFE matrix shows that the strength possessed is using quality raw materials with a weighted score of 0.29 with the weaknesses possessed namely the level of employee education is still low with a weighted score of 0.10. The results of the calculation of the EFE matrix of opportunities owned by UD Barokah are customer loyalty to the product is very good and a threat to UD Barokah changing consumer tastes. IE matrix is ​​in quadrant IV, based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis there are 6 alternative strategies that can be done. So the priority strategy that can be applied is to expand market reach by utilizing the development of information technology so that demand can increase with a TAS score of 4.80.
