Abstract

Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plantspacing applications and K fertilizer on plant height, number of branches, Number of pods, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, seed weight per plant, seed weight per plot, and the weight of 100 seeds. The method that used is experiment with the direct observationtechnique in collecting data. The experimental design that applied was factorial based on randomized block design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is: Plant Spacing (A) consists of 3 levels: A1: 20 x 15 cm, J2: 20 x 20 cm, J3: 20 x 25 cm. The second factor is the dose of fertilizer K (K) consists of three levels. K1: KCl 75 kg / ha, K2: 100 kg KCl / ha, K3: KCl 125 kg / hectare.The results showed that the spacing giving significant effect on plant height at 35 days after planting with the highest plant height on J1 is 28.37 cm, but has no effect on number of branches, number of pods, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, seed weight per plant, seed weight per plot, and the weight of 100 seeds. Kalium fertilizer (KCl) significantly affected the plant height at the age of 14 Day After Planting (DAP) on D1 as the highest heighton 12.51 cm, and at the age 35 DAP with the highest plant height on D1 that is 44.80 cm, but has no effect on the number of branches, number of pods, number of pods, number of empty pods, seed weight per plant, seed weight per plot, and the weight of 100 seeds.Interactions between plant spacing and K fertilizer (KCl) had no significant effect on all parameters that observed those were plant height, number of branches, number of pods, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, seed weight per plant, grain weight per plot, and weight 100 seed.
