Abstract

Taufik Fatrrohman. Damanhuri. Muqwin Asyim. Application of coconut water and KNO3 Fertilier on the yield of peanut plant (Arachis hypogaea L.) Research about “Application of coconut water and KNO3 Fertilier on the yield of peanut plant (Arachis hypogaea L.)” was aimed to know the optimal concentration of coconut water and KNO3 Fertilzer to the growth and yield of peanut plant. This research was conducted at practical area of Jember state politechnique. This research was conducted 4 month from November 2014 until February 2015. The experimental design that was used in this research is randomized block design (RBD) used 2 factors with 3 repetition. First factor is the coconout water (A) that is coconut water 0 ml/L (A1), 250 ml/L (A2), and 500 ml/L (A3). Second factor is KNO3 fertilizer that is KNO3 (K) that is KNO3 fertilizer 0 gr/L, 5 gr/L, 10 gr/L and 15 gr/L. Result of this research shows that coconut water treatment 500 ml/L give the fastest result on the parameter of plant growth height 30 and 60 day after planting, treatment of KNO3 fertilizer with consentration as much as 10 gr/l and treatment 250 ml/L and 10 gr/L give the fastest growth on the branch at 45 and 60 day after planting, and the treatment of coconut water 250 ml/L and 5 gr/ L give the best yield on the parameter of pod production so that can be conclude that coconut water and KNO3 fertilizer can be used as the supplement nutrition on the peanut plant cultivaton.
