Abstract
Roxy Supermarket is one that is in Jember, applying queuing method. Queue method is applied is First In First Out (FIFO). Service facilities used is Multi Chanel Single phase. Service facilities in Roxy Supermarket cashiers are 20, but only 8 were opened to serve the consumer. To know the cashier is effective or not, it can be seen from the quantitative data that has been obtained covering ρ, p0, Lq, Ls, Wq, and Ws. Based on calculations with multiple lines queuing system model on Roxy Supermarket Jember on the clock said 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. yet efficient and effective, it can be seen from the results of the analysis on the clock 18:00 to 19:00: ρ0 = 0, ρ = 0.89 , Lq = 12.37. While the results of the analysis at 7:00 p.m. to 20:00 hours: ρ0 = 0, ρ = 0.98, Lq = 35.9. Said efficient service when determining the amount of an open cash register is right. The amount of the cashier that too much will increase the cost of the facility and will be detrimental to the Roxy Supermarket. Total cash register open at Roxy Supermarket cashiers are 8. 8 cashier in these conditions too much queuing to be served and too long to be served. Results of calculation of the total cost of the 8 cashier Rp. 5,185,603, -.
