Abstract
Anemia in pregnancy is a condition experienced by pregnant women where blood hemoglobin levels are less than 11 g/dl in the first and third trimesters, while in the second trimester hemoglobin levels <10.5 g/dl. One of the causes of anemia in pregnant women is iron deficiency. Iron deficiency anemia can be prevented by taking iron tablets and consuming iron-source foods. This is the need for education on the prevention of anemia in pregnant women so that it encourages researchers to make alternative media through animated video media. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the validation test and the acceptance test of anemia animated video media products as a medium for preventing anemia in pregnant women at the Sukomoro Health Center, Magetan Regency. This research is a Research and Development study that uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This study uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire sheet consisting of a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire and an acceptance test questionnaire. The questionnaire sheet was used to determine the feasibility level of animated video media. The results of material validation amounted to 88.6% and media validation amounted to 87.3% which fell into the feasible category with necessary revisions. The acceptance test for pregnant women obtained a result of 90.5% in the category of very feasible to use.
