Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of breadfruit leaf flour (Artocarpus altilis) in feed against broiler blood p rofil. The study consisted of four treatments with different levels of breadfruit leaf flour, namely: P0 (control), P1 (3% in feed), P2 (6% in feed), and P3 (9% in feed). This study used 200 Cobb broiler chickens. Each research treatment consisted of five replicants, each replication consisted of 10 broiler chickens. The parameters observed were cholesterol levels, LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) and HDL (High Density Lipoprotein). This study used an experimental method with the experimental design used, namely a complete randomized design (RAL), if there is a difference in the average treatment, followed by the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test. The results showed that the use of breadfruit leaf flour (Artocarpus altilis) in feed against the blood profile of broilers gave a significant decrease in cholesterol and LDL levels, but did not affect HDL in broilers.
