Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which blood hemoglobin levels are below normal limits. Anemia is a nutritional problem with a high prevalence that occurs in pregnancy. Data from the Patrang District Health Center from January to April 2021, the area that has the highest incidence of anemia in pregnant women is in Gebang Village. Public trust in food taboos is one of the factors causing anemia in pregnant women in Gebang Village. The purpose of this research is to produce a product for developing virtual emo-demo media which is suitable for preventing anemia in pregnant women. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The population in this study were pregnant women and posyandu cadres in Gebang Village, Patrang District. Data collection uses a material validation questionnaire, media validation, and media acceptance test questionnaire. Collecting data using interview methods and filling out questionnaires. Analysis of quantitative data using a Likert scale and qualitative data using SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that the results of media validation by material and media validators get good results and the media deserves to be tested. The results of the media acceptance test got a good score with an average score of 4.3. The results of the SWOT analysis of the media that have been developed, namely the position of the media in the grand strategy matrix is in quadrant I, which means it is very profitable for the continuity of the media that has been developed so that it can take advantage of the opportunities it has. The conclusion is that the virtual Emo Demo media is an appropriate media for the prevention of anemia in pregnant women during the pandemic.
