Adriadi Novawan

Adriadi Novawan is a senior English lecturer at Politeknik Negeri Jember, a vocational higher education institution in Indonesia. He completed his master degree in Education, Communication, and Language Science (M.Ed.) at Newcastle University upon Tyne, UK. His master’s dissertation was on Curriculum and Pedagogic Discourse of English Professional Communication at a UK University. He teaches General English, English for Specific Purposes, Translation, Academic Writing, Professional Communication, Public Relations, and Public Speaking. His research interest is in the studies of curriculum, pedagogy, and materials development of the English for Professional Communication Purposes. Currently, he is doing research on how technology supports EFL teaching and learning inside and outside the classrooms in light of sociolinguistics theories. The most current publications are focusing on the application of technology in EFL classrooms underpinned by the ecological perspective in language teaching.
