Abstract
Naturaly silk is one of certain activities of agro industry which has long activies, including mulberry planting, silkworm rearing, cocoon production, cocoon processing, silk reeling and weaving. This research aimed to observe the effect of natural growth regulatory substance and storage times against to growth of mulberry’s cuttings (Morus multicaulis). This research conducted on October 2014 until January 2015 at mulberry plantation of State Polytechnic of Jember. In order to increase productivity of mulberry's leaves, in this research was applied completely randomized block design. The factor of the treatmeant including growth regulatory substance which made from onion and garlic, the storage times consist of 2 days, 3 days, and 4 days treatment, each treatment replicated 3 times and it has 27 experimental units, which every units consist of 10 cuttings, at least it required 270 mulberry's cuttings. Onion and garlic Growth Regulatory Substance was not significantly influence on the mulberry's cutting growth with parameter of growth capacity ratio, quantity of leaves, wet weight of bud, and wet weight of root. The storage times of mulberry's cutting with 2,3 and 4 days showed signifcant influence against all parameters. Key words: Natural Growth Regulatory Substance, the storage times, mulberry’s cutting
