Analisis Penyerapan Gas Karbondioksida (CO2) Dengan Berbagai Macam Bahan Adsorben Terhadap Kualitas Biogas Kotoran Sapi (Gas Absorbtion Analysis of Carbondioxide (CO2) adsorbent with Various Materials on the Quality of Biogas Manure). Hairul Anam Renewable Energy Engineering Program Departement of Engineering ABSTRACT Biogas is a mixture of gasses produced by methanogenic bacteria that occurs in materials such as biomass, which can be biodegradable under anaerobic conditions. Biomass is usually used as raw material for biogas is animal manure, urban solid waste, and others. Biogas contained are CH4, CO2, N, H2S, H, O2. The most important content is CH4, where the CH4 that must be purified from CO2. In this research, biogas purification using three kinds of media, that are calcium oxide, natural zeolit, and activated charcoal. The adsorbtion of carbondioxide using calcium oxide is the best media. This evidenced by the content of carbon dioxide (CO2) is adsorbed or attached to the surface calcium oxide has the grathest value 21,82%, while the use of natural zeolite media is only 15,1% , and the use of activated chorcoal media only 6,7%.
