Abstract

Coffee is an important crop for Indonesia, but there are still problems to be solved, namely the effort to increase production and low resistance of coffee to pests and diseases. Efforts to increase the production and quality of coffee is to get a variety with high yield through the use of superior clones. This can be done by utilizing germplasm. The purpose of this study was to determine the genetic diversity of the population of Robusta coffee and Liberika based on morphological characters of Leaves, branches and fruit in the Center of the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research. This research was conducted in the Center of the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research May 3, 2021 – jul 30, 2021. This study uses cluster analysis to measure how similar or different each clones of robusta coffee and liberika in terms of the characteristics of the phase of the generative and vegetative later the output of the results of his analyst did is displayed in the form of a dendogram. The results of the analysis show that the obtained two groups, kinship on the distance scale of kinship (euclidean distance scale) 211.48 and 113.23. on a scale of 211.48 formed into two groups. the first group (I) there are 4 genotypes coffee that is L.BMJI, L.Sbr Tlogo, L.1876 and R. Aruminensis put together by a special character, i.e. the Line of the unripe fruit is plain. The second group (II) consisted of 18 genotypes of the coffee that L. Ps. Bogor, R.BGN153, R.BGN208, R.BGN8803, R.BGN300, R. BGN371, R.BP144, R. BP124, R. BP141, R. BP142, R. BP133, R. BP106, R. BP105, R.BGN Congo, R. Laurensis, R. BP128, R. BP113 and BP1901 put together a special character that is the form of the ripe fruit rounded. on a scale of 113.23 formed into two groups, where the first group (I) there are 1 genotype that is L. PS Bogor. And the second group (II) there are 17 genotypes of the coffee that R.BGN153, R.BGN208, R.BGN8803, R.BGN300, R. BGN371, R.BP144, R. BP124, R. BP141, R. BP142, R. BP133, R. BP106, R. BP105, R.BGN Congo, R. Laurensis, R. BP128, R. BP113 and BP1901. The level of similarity between 22 accession coffee that is identified in the center of the Indonesian coffee and cocoa research shows the value of the coefficient is relatively large, so that the grouping of the 22 accessions of coffee that were identified as having ties of kinship which is great because more than 0.6 or 60%.
