Abstract
Respons Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) Klon PA 191 dengan Pemberian Kompos Jerami Padi (The Growth Response of Cocoa Plant Seeds (Theobroma cacao L.) clone PA 191 with Rice Straw Compost) Riswanda Awang Sudeno Study Program of Cultivation of Crops Plantation Department of Agricultural Production Program Studi Budidaya Tanaman Perkebunan Jurusan Produksi Pertanian ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Politeknik Negeri Jember with height of land 546 above sea level in September 2019 to Januari 2020 by using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) non factorial with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment were P1 (0 gram) P2 (75 gram), P3 (150 gram), P4 (225 gram) and P5 (300 gram). The parameters were height of cocoa plant seeds, number of leaves, stem diameter, fresh weight, dry weight, and the root volume of cocoa plant seeds. The data was analyzed by using F test (ANOVA) 1% and 5% and followed by Polynomial Contrast. The result of this research shows that compost rice straw with dose of 0 gram, 75 gram, 150 gram, 225 gram and 300 gram are significant on all parameters. The optimum dose on the plant height parameter is 78 gram,number of leaves is 64 gram, stem diameter is 73 gram, fresh weight is 70 gram, dry weight is 49 gram and the root volume is 109 gram.
