Abstract

Internship Industry (MKI) is the determination of the location of industry internship done intentionally (purposive) that in PT. Djarum is in the Kudus province of Central Java which was held on 3 March to 31 May in 2014. Industry Internship implementation was conducted at Clove Cigarettes Hand Brak (SKT) Besito, where the method used is to use observation and interviews with some people who are considered competent in the field of quality management, particularly in the areas of inspection is done visually on a matrix and hand-rolled clove cigarettes in bars SKT Besito PT. Djarum Kudus. The results of this Industrial Internship among others: (a) the inspection process heavy cigarette rollers vanity bars per block is already performing well, as is evident with the smooth running heavy inspection cigarette sticks per block was milled vanity during Marc-April 2014. From the results of inspections conducted trials can be known and emphasized that it is appropriate or not the applicable performance standard deviation on a per block milled vanity in SKT Besito. (b) After an inspection heavy cigarette sticks per block milled vanity can be seen that the block milled vanity H is the block with the best performance value standard deviation of 1.32 ≤ 4.00, Block H which is capable of emphasizing achievement standard deviation for weight inspection cigarette trial for 1 month in bulap March-April 2014. Achievement Standard Deviation value of this block is able to meet the targets set by SKT Besito of < (less than) 4.00.
