Abstract

Making a Booklet of Pancor Emas Batik Pakuniran Probolinggo, Anggi Aminullah. F31170072. 2020. 32 pages. English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nila Susanti, S.S., M.Pd (Supervisor). This is report of the final Project entitled “Making a Booklet of Pancor Emas Batik Pakuniran Probolinggo”. Batik products has great potential for our culture. Many regencies and villages in Indonesia produce their batik products based on their identity or local products, including Probolinggo. They produce in many batik home industries and one of them is Pancor Emas Batik. Pancor Emas Batik manufactures two kind of batik that are including of hand-written batik and hand-stamped batik. It is located in Jl. Paiton – Pakuniran, Dusun Acem, RT 24/RW 05 Bucor Kulon village, Pakuniran Sub District, Probolinggo Regency. Pancor Emas Batik has its own uniquness that refers to coffee. An analysis was conducted to gain further information on Pancor Emas Batik. The writer did interview to The Owner of Pancor Emas Batik. In fact, The Owner said that she was lacking of promotional media that can give more information directly to their customers when they join with an exhibition and other marketing activities. In making of booklet, the writer needed to collect some data that supporting information for the content of booklet. The writer choosed four methods of collecting data. There are observation, interview, documentation and audiovisual materials. This booklet consists of four parts, The first part, the writer explained about the history of Pancor Emas Batik establishment. The second part, the writer explained the process of making batik that is completed with the picture of each process. The third part, the writer included the photo gallery that contains the various motif types and price of the batik product. And the fourth part, the writer showed the contact person and Homepage with Maps location of Pancor Emas Batik. The writer designed to the editor to edit the booklet colorful and will complete it with pictures to make it interesting by Corel Draw X7 suite software. The size of booklet is 21 centimeters x 29.7 centimeters. The booklet was written in bilingual version, English and Bahasa Indonesia. In finishing this booklet, the writer found many challenges such as spending much of time in making the script, effort and tried to repair all missed the script. The first in making the script, the writer made the outline script, in outlining script, the writer needed to learn more reference to write a good outlining script, after outlining the script the writer tried to made the completed information. the writer got knowledge about batik information especially for Pancor Emas Batik such as process of making batik and kinds of batik motifs that become the specialty of batik motifs produced by Pancor Emas Batik. Then, the writer consulted it to The Owner of Pancor Emas Batik and to his Supervisor. After consulted the script, the writer revised it and The Supervisor check validity the content of booklet Pancor Emas Batik. Moreover, the writer’s writing skill improved by making a concept for the booklet.
