Abstract

Standard operational procedure at Puskesmas Mangaran explain that the return of outpatient medical record files is 1 x 24 hours after the patient goes home. In the first quarter, namely January, February, March 2019, 117 outpatient medical record files that were late were returned as many as 117 out of 786 files or 14% that had to be returned to the medical records unit. In the second quarter it was discovered that the number of outpatient medical record files that were late returned was 82 out of 793 files or 10.3%. The impact that occurs is that it can affect the waiting time for patients to get service and hinder further activities such as assembling, coding, and can affect lost or damaged files because they are not stored in a medical record document storage place and can hinder the reporting process. So the researchers designed and created a web-based information system for borrowing and returning medical record files at Mangaran Public Health Center using the prototype method. The results of this research are in the form of an information system for borrowing and returning medical record files that can make it easier for media record officers at Mangaran Public Health Center to borrow and return files, also send messages to the intended policeman so that the officer returns medical record files that have reached the limit. returns and can generate medical record expedition book reports.
