Abstract
This Study aims to determine the effect of the use of cage density the performance of broiler carcasses and determine the optimal level of cage density The sample used 220 broilers. The data analyzed with Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 4 treatmens and 5 replications, the treatmens consisting of P1 (8 Broilers/m²), P2 (10 Broilers/m²),P3 (12 Broilers/m²), and P4 (14 Broilers/m²), Feed and drinking water are given adlibitum. The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA followed by BNT test level of 5%. The result showed that differences in cage system density significantly affected (P<0,05) on weight and percentage of abdominal fat but did not significantly affect weight and percentage of broilers cascass.
