Abstract

The Community Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS) supports data management and health services at Community Health Centers. SimpusEVO ILP has been implemented at Paiton Community Health Center since 2019, but its registration section has never been evaluated. The preliminary study found several problems, including slow system response time, duplicate patient data, shared user accounts, and saved user accounts on computers. This study aimed to evaluate the registration section of SimpusEVO ILP using the PIECES method and develop recommendations for improvement. A qualitative method with a summative evaluation approach was used. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and discussions with seven informants. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, with validity tested through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results showed that the Performance aspect was fairly good, but system response time depended on network stability, report download features were unavailable, and the Help feature could not be used. The Information aspect did not fully meet user needs because it did not match the variables and metadata set by KMK Number HK.01.07 of 2022 and the Patient Resource platform of SATUSEHAT. The Economic aspect was integrated with P-Care, SATUSEHAT, and JKN Mobile, but no IT staff was available. The Control aspect was not optimal in terms of system security. The Efficiency and Service aspects were good in supporting work and services. The discussion resulted in recommendations for developing and improving SimpusEVO ILP based on user needs.
