Abstract

Expert system is a system based on expert knowledge to solve a problem. This expert system aims to diagnose pests and diseases of oyster mushroom plants from the symptoms selected by the user. This expert system uses a combination method of Forward Chaining and Certainty Factors. Where is Forward Chaining to carry out tracing of possible pests or diseases, while Certainty Factor is used to perform calculations to find the percentage of pests or diseases that may attack. The results of this study obtained a system accuracy rate of 86.66% by conducting 15 experiments from experts.
