Abstract

Robusta coffee is one of the plantation commodities whose productivity can decline due to pest infestations. This study aimed to identify pest species, determine the percentage and intensity of pest infestations, and calculate the diversity index of pests in Robusta coffee plantations located on the slopes of Mount Argopuro, Jember Regency. The research was conducted in Arjasa, Sukorambi, and Panti Districts using field survey methods followed by morphological identification. The results identified five pest species, namely the coffee berry borer, coffee twig borer, mealybug, green scale insect, and coffee planthopper. The highest infestation percentage was recorded for mealybugs (9.3%), followed by coffee planthoppers (8.0%), green scale insects (5.3%), coffee twig borers (3.0%), and coffee berry borers (0.3%).
