Abstract

The food crop subsector has an important role for the State which must be developed so that this subsector is closely related to the processing industry. One of the food crop processing industries, namely UD. WND. This industry processes edamame into products that have added value, namely edamame snacks that have been processed using a vacuum friying machine. This study aims to analyze activities that can increase the profits that the company gets as well as the added value of edamame snack products. This research is a descriptive and quantitative research with the sample taker using purposive sampling technique. The edamame snack value chain at UD.WND generally involves three main actors, namely PT. Mitra Tani 27 as a supplier of edamame raw materials, UD. WND as an edamame snack processing industry and a distributor as a distributor of products to consumers. The total cost incurred by UD. WND to produce edamame snacks of Rp 47.361.903 / month. Total revenue obtained from sales is Rp 55.550.000 / month. While the total income earned is IDR 4.188.097 / month. The results of the analysis of added value obtained from the processing of every one kilogram of edamame into edamame snacks at UD. WND, namely Rp. 3,958 / kg with a value added ratio of 17%.
