Abstract
A personality analysis of Computer Science students who are fans of Japanese pop culture was conducted using IndoBERT-based clustering to group respondents based on behavioral characteristics and personality tendencies derived from their questionnaire responses. Data was collected via a questionnaire administered to Computer Science students in the Jember region, then validated using a t-test and processed through data cleaning, normalization, stopword removal, stemming, and duplicate removal. Next, the text was converted into embeddings using IndoBERT and combined with lexical features before being clustered using a KNN approach based on Euclidean distance and K-Means on neighborhood vectors. The clustering results were evaluated using the Silhouette Score and yielded three clusters: mild, moderate, and high negative personality, with an average value of 0.6508, indicating fairly good clustering quality. These results demonstrate that IndoBERT can be used to facilitate a more objective, consistent, and systematic analysis of questionnaire text.
