Abstract

The implementation of the Retail Sales Skills Competency Test activity is not only aimed at measuring student competency achievement, the school also gets additional benefits from the sales of retail product. The school certainly needs special tips to maximize sales profits. According to Indoprasto and Suryani (2012), to be able to maximize sales profits, good planning is needed in optimizing the number of items that must be ordered. If the control runs optimally, the need for product can be met according to consumer demand. If there is a shortage of product, there will be consumer disappointment with the school because it fails to meet demand and if there are excess product, the school will return the product to the company that cooperates.The school requires a forecasting information system for determining the stock of product to be ordered according to consumer demand for retail sales activities so that the product in the warehouse do not experience a shortage of stock. In addition, the system is expected to minimize the number of returns due to excess stock so as to maximize sales profits.
