Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ZPT treatment on the growth of hemp, to determine the effect of cutting stem types on hemp growth, and to determine the interaction between ZPT treatment and cutting stem types on the growth of hemp. This research was conducted at the Research Institute for Sweeten and Fiber Crops (BALITTAS) Malang on 2020 November 06 to 2021 January 30. The research location is located in North Kepuh, Kepuharjo, Kec. Karangploso, Malang, East Java. The research location is located at an altitude of 515 m above sea level. The experimental design in this study used the factorial RAL (Completely Randomized Design) method. Based on the results and discussion, the treatment of cutting stem types in the nursery had a very significant effect on the number of roots parameters and had no significant effect on the parameters of the number of shoots, length of shoots, number of leaves. ZPT treatment in the nursery had a very significant effect on the parameters of shoot length, number of leaves, number of roots and after seeding had a very significant effect on parameters of shoot length, stem diameter, number of roots and had no significant effect on parameters of the number of shoots and number of leaves. There was a very real interaction between the types of cuttings and ZPT on the number of roots in the nursery, while after the nursery it gave insignificant results for all parameters.
