Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze inventory control of dry cowhide as raw material for rambak crackers at UD. Special Satu and analyze the possibility of increasing efficiency of dry cowhide as raw material using Economic Order Quantity method. The type of this research is Quantitative Descriptive. The result of analysis showed that with EOQ, inventory cost in 2020 is Rp 15.681.632, and optimal order quantity of raw material is 3.920 Kg per order in 8 times order per month. This research showed that Inventory cost by EOQ is more efficience than inventory cost by company method, inventory cost using company method in 2020 is Rp 26.295.294, and 5.167 Kg of dry cowhide is ordered in 6 times order. The result of Reorder Point with 297 Kg of safety stock, showed that reordering happen when corn raw material is 497 Kg in storage. Keywords: Supply, Crowhide Raw Material, Economic Order Quantity
