Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transparency of church financial at the East Javanese Christian Church (GKJW) in Jember. The Unduh-Unduh tradition is a form of expression of gratitude from the congregation and also serves as a source of church funding, so its management needs to be carried out transparently to maintain congregational trust. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through interviews and documentation. The results show that transparency has been implemented in the planning, implementation, and reporting stages through congregational involvement, clear record-keeping, and regular submission of reports. However, at the evaluation stage, transparency is not optimal because it is still limited to internal church parties. Increased openness and congregational participation are needed to ensure comprehensive transparency in financial management.
