Abstract

This study aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the inventory management system at UD Mekar Jaya. The main problem faced is the reliance on manual record-keeping, which leads to inefficiencies and data inaccuracies. The Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach is applied to ensure that the design is effective, efficient, and satisfying for users. The methodology includes understanding the context of use through user research, identifying user requirements using user personas and user scenarios, and developing design solutions through user flow, sitemap, and prototyping. The design evaluation will be conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure usability and staff satisfaction. It is expected that this web-based system can improve productivity and support better decision-making.
